Every person has a core personality which is a combination of a set of values (invariants, driving principles, inner self) and an understanding of the world (exposure, awareness, knowledge, basically memory and crux of analysis of the memory). There are interactions that are incidental due to spatio-temporal proximity.
These interaction happen due to spatio-temporal proximity only. cut the proximity and interaction is over. interaction with shopkeepers, office etc. primarily this kind of interaction.
All interactions start with spatio-temporal proximity. But there are some which continue even when proximity is less.
What makes these interaction happen?
What happens when spatio temporal proximity doesn’t drive an interaction?
What is it that drive it?
It is a kind of harmony between two people. A harmony in their personality. And this harmony requires some overlap in the values as well as the exposure
if any of these two is absent, the interaction will lose its charm and will be broken by harsh blows of space and time.
If there is not much commonality in the exposure, It is hard to give examples to convey your ideas.
If there is not much commonality in the values, it is hardly fulfilling to interact.

The harmony also depends and is bound by the social virues. Persons bound by relations for example. They are bound irrespective of their commanalities and mostly it is outcome rather than pre-requisite.
